The city engineer Bruce Beauchene made a choice to work road construction crews through the night into the very early hours of the morning, to save the city money from suits filled from road chip covering! This keeps Kennewick residents awake all night as construction crews run their noisy construction machinery outside their front doors, until 5- 6 am! Bruce Beauchene says this is done to save the city money because of suits filled on damage to cars driving on these roads. All the while Kennewick residents , children with school to attend, elderly, sick, and all of us must loose a nite sleep because Kennewick thinks this is a more cost effective way of paving city streets. Maybe the city will change its approach when the suits come in from the noise problems. Last night it was Highland Drive. Tonight it will be 10th ave.
