I walked through Macy's Department Store yesterday and saw on their main isle, a display or Graffiti shirts by Marc Ecko. This shirts are vivid promotions for graffiti vandalism, and Macy's is helping to promote it by displaying and selling this line. Would Macy's feel the same way if I were to go out tonight and graffiti their store walls? Would they still want to help promote graffiti vandalism? The two main shirts I saw were a picture of a Spray Can, and the other was one that said "Graffiti Made Me Rich" there were several others displayed as well, all in a graffiti style. I think it is poor judgement on the part of Macy's to help promote a criminal act by selling this line that clearly promotes the crime.
