Fireworks & Dry Weeds Don't Mix

At approximately 10:50pm the evening of July 4th, 2011 a small fire erupted in this vacant lot strewn with very dry cheat grass. No doubt the cause is from fireworks being set off in the vicinity. The local fire department quickly extinguished the blaze as mobile on-lookers slowly inched their way past, eager to get home after a long, late evening of frolic and fun.
