Seahawks Open Preseason With Win

Friday was also a big day for football fans.
The Seattle Seahawks officially opened up their 2008 schedule on Friday evening. The Hawks played their first exhibition game of the year as they took on Minnesota. The game was tied at 17 in the 3rd quarter, but then the Seahawks pulled away. They scored 2 touchdowns and added a field goal…and the defense kept Minnesota off the board. And the Seahawks open the preseason with a 34-17 win over the Vikings. The Hawks next preseason game is next Saturday when they host Chicago. |
