CBC Sweeps BMCC in Doubleheader
PASCO – The CBC women remain the top team in the NWAACC by beating Blue Mountain Community College 78-71 on Saturday.
The standout of the night for Columbia Basin was Jennifer Noon. She dropped 39 points in the game, which made up for half of CBC’s total. She also had 7 rebounds and 2 assists.
The win now moves the Hawks record to 15-1 on the year.
The men’s team had the second game, and just like the women they knocked off the Timberwolves. The men’s score was 72-65.
Former Chiawana Riverhawk Justin Smith led the Hawks with 12 points in the winning effort.
