Ams fall for second straight night
KENNEWICK – The Tri-City Americans dropped their second game in straight nights, falling to the Kamloops Blazers 4-3 in a shootout.
The Ams scored the first goal of the game thanks to Justin Feser, but after that, Kamloops posted three straight goals to take a 3-1 lead in the second period. Brendan Shinnimin and Adam Hughesman tag teamed to tie the game 3-3 at the end of two.
The third period remained scoreless and so did overtime. So in the shootout, Tri-City failed on their first two attempts, while the Blazers scored on the first two to clinch the win.
Next up for Tri-City they get some much needed rest before visiting Edmonton on Wednesday, January 25th.
