Over the last 4 seasons, the Tri-City Americans have played some great hockey at home.
In that time, they've won 113 games while only losing 31...a winning percentage of almost 80 percent.
This year, the Ams had another great year, going 27-9 at home.
Thanks, in part, to that success, the team earned the top seed in the Western Conference.
Now, the Ams hope to continue their winning ways into the playoffs.
However, Tri-City has actually struggled a bit at home in the postseason in the last 3 seasons, going just 11-7.
But, head coach Jim Hiller doesn't care much about those stats...he's just thrilled his team has the home-ice advantage.
Coach Hiller says, "Its just immense, I think our fans and this building, it gets rocking and, you know, you heard it late in the game versus Spokane after we scored those 2, the place was going crazy and that's a big advantage for us and we're going to need that support throughout the playoffs, 1st round right through to the end."
Odds are, Tri-City will get 3 home games in their first round series with Chilliwack.
That's because the Ams only have 1 playoff sweep in their last 11 series.
Game 1 of this series is at the Toyota Center...it will be on Friday night...and the puck drops at 7:05 PM.
