The Tri-Cities Fever has already played 2 games this year, both on the road.
In their first game, they lost to Fairbanks in quadruple overtime.
Then, after a short week of rest, the team was right back on the road Sunday as they played in Billings.
The Fever scored a touchdown on the opening drive of the game to take a quick lead.
But, throughout the rest of the first half, the Outlaws scored touchdowns, while the Fever kicked field goals.
While Tri-Cities was down 34-20 at the half, they came back and were able to keep things close until the final few minutes of game.
But, when the final horn sounded, the Fever had lost to Billings 64-50.
This is the 4th straight season the Fever have started 0-2 and this was their 14th straight loss on the road.
That's it for the bad Fever news...and there may be some good news coming in the near future.
The Fever get a week off before their next game and that game against another winless team.
On Saturday the 27th, the Fever will play their first home game of the year as they take on the expansion Kent Predators.
Kent is 0-3 this year but they have been very competitive in those games.
Next Saturday's game starts at 7:05 PM at the Toyota Center.
