Thursday, it was the 1A girls that were in action.
There were a pair of elimination games on Thursday night in the SCAC district tournament.
The first game was between Goldendale and the top seed in the east, Columbia (Burbank).
And the Coyotes advance to the state qualifying game as they beat Goldendale 52-35.
In that game, they'd play the winner of Thursday night's other elimination game...that was between Connell and Mabton.
And the Eagles keep their season alive as they beat the Vikings 43-32.
So, Connell and Columbia (Burbank) will play on Saturday night with a trip to state on the line.
