Garfield-Palouse won that game...and that put them in the double elimination portion of the bracket.
But, that also meant their first round opponent was top-seeded Liberty Christian...and on Wednesday night, those two teams got together.
All Patriots out there...they open up the postseason with a win...the final score was 47-26.
That win puts the Patriots into the tournament semifinals.
And in their next game, they'll be playing Tekoa-Oakesdale.
That's because the Nighthawks had no trouble with Waitsburg-Prescott...they beat the Cardinals 50-29.
On the other side of the bracket, there were 2 more games.
DeSales falls to Pomeroy 40-32.
And Asotin gets the big 33 point win over Dayton.
So, in the other semifinal, Pomeroy and Asotin will get together.
As for the boys...they start their tournament on Thursday night.
