The Tri-City Americans haven't played a home game in over 2 weeks.
During their time away, they went to central Canada and Vancouver...and ended up going 2-2.
Now, they've got a 7 point lead in the U.S. Division and an 8 point lead in the Western Conference.
The Americans will play 7 of their next 9 games at the Toyota Center...and that stretch started Tuesday night as they took on Seattle.
Seattle an early lead...but...the Ams came back.
And thanks to a Jordan Messier goal with 9 minutes left in the game, the Americans get the 3-2 win.
The Ams will be right back in action Wednesday night when they play in Portland.
