The main focus of signing day around the country is usually the football players.

But, Wednesday was more of a soccer day in our area.

The best girls soccer team from the Mid-Columbia this year was Kamiakin.

And Wednesday afternoon, 3 of their best players signed with colleges.

Brianna Brannan will continue her career at Eastern Washington, while Shelby Bigness and Shelby Gunion with both be heading to CBC.

All 3 of those players went to two final fours with the Braves, the 2nd trip coming this past season.

And they say this feels like the end of an era.

Brannan says, "Its actually kind of sad just cause, I mean, we're all leaving each other and we're going different ways, but, since we're all really close, since the girls are going to CBC and I'm just at Eastern, I mean, we all can still get together, so I'm just glad that they're going somewhere and doing something with soccer."

Even though Brannan is leaving the Tri-Cities, she'll still be playing alongside some familiar faces.

Her older sister, Whitney, plays for the Eagles and so do former Braves Brittany Sparks and Lyndsey Martin.
