The CBC and Walla Walla volleyball teams ended the regular season with identical 7-7 records in East region play.
That put them in a tie for the 4th and final playoff spot...and since they split their head-to-head meetings, that meant the Hawks and Warriors had to play a winner-take-all tiebreaker match.
That match was Monday night in Walla Walla.
And look at this...for the 2nd time in 6 days, these two teams play 5 games.
And for the 2nd time, CBC wins it 3 games to 2.
So, the Warriors season comes to an end, while CBC now moves on to play in this week's NWAACC Tournament.
Their first match will be Thursday at 2 PM when they play Mt. Hood.
