Over the last 2 years, the Tri-City Americans have been dominant at the Toyota Center.

2 years ago, they won 29 of their 36 games at home...and last year, they won 30 games at the Toyota Center.

This year, the Americans are off to another hot start, winning all 4 of their home games so far.

Wednesday night, they went for their 5th straight win at home, and 7th straight win overall, as they took on Brandon.

The Wheat Kings tied the game at 3 in the 2nd period.

But, Kruise Reddick scores late in the 2nd...and again in the 3rd...and that's the difference.

Tri-City wins their 7th straight game, beating Brandon 5-3.

The Ams will be back on the ice Friday when they host Kelowna.

That's not the end of the good news for the Ams.

Wednesday morning, the CHL released their weekly top 10 poll...and for the first time this year, the Americans are ranked.

Tri-City jumps into the poll at number 10.

They're the 4th WHL team in the poll this week, joining Calgary, Kamloops, and Vancouver, while Moose Jaw is just outside the top 10.

This is the first time the Ams have been in the CHL poll since late last season, when they peaked at number 8.
