CWAC Swim Meet In Selah - 10-15-09

We wrap up the high school portion of the show with a little swimming.
Prosser took on a couple other 2A teams on Thursday afternoon in Selah. We start with the 200 team medley...Prosser's Hanna Rankin gets the Mustangs off to an early lead with a dominant performance in the 1st 50...then Prosser's Gaby Villareal edges Selah's Nicole Bannister to win the race. The 200 individual medley is next...and this race was dominated by Prosser's Hanna Rankin...no one was even close to her...she wins it in just a shade over 2 minutes and 10 seconds...that's close to a state record. The Mustangs would end up losing duals to both Selah and Cheney...and they'll be back in action next week in Ellensburg. |
