Americans Back On Home Ice

After winning back-to-back U.S. Division titles, there was some thought that this might be a down year for the Tri-City Americans.

The team lost their top 3 scorers and they changed coaches just before the season began.

But, even with those changes, it looks like the Ams have picked up right where they left off last year.

The Ams are 6-2 so far this year and just a couple points behind the first place Portland Winterhawks.

Tri-City just wrapped up a 3 game road trip where they went 3-0 and scored a total of 12 goals.

Now, the Ams get to come back home, a place where they're a perfect 3-0 this year and have outscored their opponents in those games by a combined score of 16-6.

Friday night, Tri-City will play one of just 4 home games this month when they host Prince Albert.

The Ams haven't lost to the Raiders since 2004, a stretch of 4 straight games.

Friday's game gets started at 7:05 PM at the Toyota Center.
