At the start of Tuesday evening, there were 3 volleyball teams in a battle for first place in the Big Nine.
Richland was 10-1 and they had the night off...Southridge was also 10-1...and Kamiakin was a half game back at 9-1.
Well, now there are just 2 teams with one loss.
That's because Southridge and Kamiakin got together on Tuesday night...and this was a classic.
The Braves would win the first 2 games...but then the Suns get going.
They win the final 3 games, including a dominant 15-3 win in the 5-th.
And Southridge takes over first place in the Big Nine as they beat Kamiakin 3 games to 2.
Next, we head over to Chiawana.
The Riverhawks were at home taking on Walla Walla.
And the Blue Devils take care of business...they sweep the Riverhawks 25-16, 25-14, and 25-20.
There is one other high school volleyball score to pass along.
Columbia (Burbank) was at home taking on Royal.
And the Knights pick up the sweep...the scores were 25-12, 25-12, and 25-23.
