American Legion Race Comes Down To Final Week
By Keith Leventhal
There's one more important baseball league we're keeping an eye on.
With just a few games left in the American Legion regular season, things are really heating up. Wednesday night, Kennewick swept a pair of games from Yakima Valley, including a thrilling 11 inning win in game 2. At the same time, Twin City swept a pair of games from Hanford. So, with just a couple games left, here's how things stand. Kennewick is back in first place at 16-4...but right behind them are Yakima Valley and Twin City, who are both just a game back at 15-5. Yakima Valley will wrap up the regular season next week with 4 games against Yakima...while Kennewick and Twin City will play each other in doubleheaders on Tuesday and Wednesday. |
