Fever Receiver Phil Goodman is Behind Bars

By Keith Leventhal

We've got new information about a Fever player behind bars.

Phil Goodman was arrested Thursday night in Richland...but this isn't his first time in jail.

The Fever wide receiver is becoming a well known person to our local police officers.

We did some digging on Friday and found lots of documentation about his previous run-ins with the law.

And it turns out he's now been arrested 3 times in the last 38 days.

All of his legal troubles began back on June 3rd when he was arrested on a failure to comply warrant in Richland.

Those issues got substantially worse on July 3rd when he was pulled over for driving with a suspended license.

According to the police report, officers found a baggy of marijuana in Goodman's pocket, and when they searched his car, a scale and more marijuana were discovered.

Goodman posted 500 dollars bail the next day, and was scheduled to be in court to deal with those charges next week.

His most recent arrest was Thursday night, when he was picked up on an outstanding warrant from California.

That warrant is for possesion of marijuana and was issued on April 3rd.

Goodman is currently being held at the Benton County jail on a 72 hour hold so California officials can figure out if they want to extradite him.
