There's also a lot of high school playoff action to talk about.

We start on the baseball field.

On Tuesday, Kamiakin and Southridge got together in a state qualifying game...and the Braves ended up getting the 2-1 win.

That put Kamiakin into the state tournament for the 2nd straight year...but it knocked Southridge into the elimination portion of the bracket.

Now, the Suns need to win 2 games in a row to get to state...and that's not even the worst news for them.

They were supposed to play Hanford on Friday afternoon in an elimination game.

But, thanks to a conflicting event, that game had to be moved.

Now the Suns and Falcons will play on Saturday at 10 AM at Southridge.

The winner of that game will play either West Valley or Mt. Spokane later in the day for the final state berth.

Up in 4A, the Richland baseball team is just a couple wins away from returning to the state tournament.

And after a great regular season, the Bombers are starting to get some national recognition.

Richland is ranked 8th in this week's USA Today west region poll, and their the only team from the Pacific Northwest to be ranked this week.

The Bombers head into the postseason with a 19-1 record, and with 2 more wins, they'll be back in the state tournament with a chance to defend their state title.
