13 year old from Benton City shines in motocross
PASCO - Johnathan Shaw is from Benton City and has been riding dirt bikes for the past five years. He goes to school just like other 13 year olds, but when the weekends roll around it's go-time.
Shaw has traveled across the country for different races, but this weekend he stayed closer to home as one of the major races in the Northwest was out at the TRAC in Pasco.
After taking first on Friday Night, Johnathon left his mark on the event by winning all 4 of his races on Saturday -- including the 85 cc's 12-13 year old group and the 85 cc open class.
Johnathon also told KEPR it was nice to be close to home since he could actually sleep in his own bed this weekend.
