CBC Winless at Home on Saturday
PASCO – Both the men’s and women’s soccer teams of Columbia Basin came into Saturday with winning streak, but when Saturday’s matches came to a close both of the winning streaks ended.
The men’s team was looking for their third straight win, but went down early to South Puget Sound. The Hawks traile’s team was looking for their third straight win, but went down early to South Puget Sound. The Hawks trailed 3-1 at halftime.
CBC added a goal in the second half off a penalty kick, but that was the only goal of the half.
On the women’s side, the Hawks had won five straight games to start the season, but ended Saturday in a 0-0 tie. CBC outshot Lane Community College nine shots to one.
