HS Volleyball Update: 3A and 2A Semi's
KENNEWICK - The West Valley Rams were ranked the number one team in state coming into the state tournament, but they ran into a tough Eastside Catholic team in the the 3A Semifinals.
The Crusaders beat the Rams in five games 25-23, 22-25, 19-25, 27-25, 15-12.
West Valley did go on to win the third place game against Mount Si.
In 2A, two local teams went head to head with one advancing to the state championships.
Selah and Grandview put up a good fight, but in the end it was the Vikings getting the win 25-21, 24-26, 25-19, 25-19.
Selah advances to the state championship where they will play Pullman.
