Southridge Twins Sticking Together and Heading To WSU
Let's flash back to Wednesday's signings at Southridge.
While there were 4 athletes that signed, 2 of them had us all checking our eyes.
.
Twin brothers Ty and Bryce Jackson both signed with schools on Wednesday...they both signed to play baseball...and, just to cap off the theme, they both signed with Washington State.
Recruiting these guys wasn't some sort of package deal.
They're both very talented baseball players and had lots of interest.
But they say staying together was important to them.
Ty Jackson says, "We made a big decision on staying with each other because we thought it would be more at home if we were together, maybe not be as lonely being together."
Bryce Jackson adds, "We get to stay in the same dorm, play with each other on the field and off, and so, yeah, its good bonding time again since we've been with it for 17 years."
The Jackson brothers will be pitching at WSU and their Southridge teammate Spencer O'Neil will be a big power hitter at Oregon.
And those 3 are already looking forward to meeting on the field in the spring of 2012.
