High School Volleyball Recap - 10-12-10

We're down to the final few weeks of the high school volleyball regular season.

In 3A, it looks like unbeaten West Valley is going to win the district title.

But, behind the Rams, there are some interesting races heating up.

Southridge started Tuesday night in 3rd place, just a game ahead of the team they were playing, 4th place Kennewick.

And Southridge tightens their grip on 3rd place as they sweep Kennewick...the scores were 25-23, 25-21, and 25-13.

The 2 teams the Suns are chasing are Kamiakin and West Valley.

And, as expected, they both picked up wins on Tuesday night as well.

The Rams swept Hanford 25-12, 25-9 and 25-10.

And the Braves destroyed Sunnyside...the scores there were 25-15, 25-7, and 25-5.

In 4A, the top spot in the Big Nine belongs to Richland.

The Bombers tried to keep rolling on Tuesday night as they played Moses Lake.

Moses Lake would end up winning one game.

But the Bombers would win the match.

They stay unbeaten in league play as they beat the Chiefs 3 games to 1.
