The Tri-City Americans Win A Rare Day Game In Moose Jaw

Monday was Thanksgiving Day in Canada.

And we all know that hockey in Canada is the equivalent of football in the U.S.

So, in the same way that we have football games on Thanksgiving afternoon...Canadians watch hockey games while they celebrate the holiday.

The Tri-City Americans are in the middle of their Eastern division road trip.

And since they're in Canada on Monday, the Ams played a rare day game.

Tri-City was in Moose Jaw.

And the Americans keep rolling.

They win their 3rd straight game, beating the Warriors 6-3.

Connor Rankin had the best game of his young career, scoring 2 goals and adding an assist, and Adam Hughesman and Jordan Messier each scored their 7th goal of the season in the win.

The Ams will wrap up this long road trip on Wednesday when they play in Swift Current.
