The NWAACC basketball tournament continued Monday night with a couple of semifinal games.
In the women's bracket, Walla Walla is back in the semifinals...and that means they're guaranteed to bring home their 10th straight trophy.
The Warriors were on the court playing Lane in the semis...and this was a thriller.
Walla Walla holds on to beat Lane 72-69.
That win puts the Warriors in the championship game for the first time since 2006.
And waiting for them in the title game will be their East region rival, Yakima Valley.
That's because the Yaks took care of Clackamas on Monday night, beating the Cougars 75-64.
Yakima Valley and Walla Walla have a little history this year.
The Yaks handed the Warriors their only loss of the season when they played in Yakima in January.
Tuesday's championship game gets started at 4:30 PM.
We also had a pair of teams playing loser out games on Monday.
The CBC women hit the court bright and early to play Mt. Hood.
And CBC holds on to win 63-61.
So, they'll be back on the court Tuesday at 10 AM when they play Spokane in the 5th and 8th place game.
The other team playing in a must-win game was the Walla Walla men...they took on Whatcom.
And the Warriors hold on...they win a close one 59-56.
So, Walla Walla will play Mt. Hood in the 4th and 7th place game Tuesday at noon.
