Last Monday, Washington State athletic director Jim Sterk announced he was leaving the school and heading to San Diego State.
Well, it didn't take the Cougs too long to find his replacement.
On Wednesday, the school introduced Bill Moos as their new athletic director.
Moos has plenty of connections to Washington State.
He was the captain of the Cougs football team back in 1972...and he worked as an assistant a-d at the school during the 80's.
He has been away from college athletics since leaving Oregon in 2007.
And he says he's walking into a pretty good situation.
New WSU athletic director Bill Moos says, "We will immediately, as I told them, start to observe and assess how the program is now, there's so many things that are not broken...Jim Sterk did a wonderful job."
Moos adds that after he looks around at the program, he'll put together an executive staff that will draw up the plans for the future.
And, he expects to be in Pullman for awhile...he said this will be his last job.
