There are just 2 weeks left in the NWAACC basketball season.

At the start of Wednesday night, the CBC women were in a 3-way tie for 3rd place in the East Division.

Since only 2 of those teams will go to the playoffs, the Hawks really needed a win on Wednesday night as they played Wenatchee Valley.

All CBC out there...they pick up the big win, crushing wenatchee Valley 75-37.

The CBC men are 2 games out of the final playoff spot...so they also needed to take care of business against Wenatchee Valley.

The Hawks dig out of an early hole as they come back to beat Wenatchee Valley 82-63.

Both CBC teams will be back in action Saturday when they play at Yakima Valley.

Both Walla Walla teams are in good shape to make the playoffs.

The Warriors women's team has only lost once this year...that was against Yakima Valley last month.

So, Wednesday night's rematch was big.

And Walla Walla gets some revenge as they beat Yakima 66-59.

Then, the men hit the court...and they finish off the sweep, beating the Yaks 87-76.

The Warriors next game is Saturday when they make the trip up to Wenatchee Valley College.
