Kellen Moore Has Big Day, Wins 2 Awards
By Keith Leventhal
It was also a big weekend for Prosser's Kellen Moore.
He was playing his first road game on Saturday as Boise State played at number 17 Oregon. And Moore had a fantastic day...he went 27-for-35 for 386 yards and 3 touchdowns as the Broncos beat the Ducks 37-32. Moore also picked up a couple of awards after that performance. He was named WAC offensive player of the week and, he also picked up a national award, the Walter Camp Football Foundation Bowl Subdivision offensive player of the week. Kellen and the rest of the Broncos are back on the field Wednesday, October 1st, when they host Louisiana Tech. That great performance by Kellen Moore and Boise State also moved the Broncos back into the top 25. USC, Oklahoma, Georgia, and Florida all stay in the same spots this week at the top of the poll. Boise State jumps all the way up to number 19, while Oregon drops out of the top 25. And, you'll notice something strange this week...only one Pac-10 team in the poll, number 1 USC. |
