CBC vs. Walla Walla Soccer - 9-9-08By Keith Leventhal
The fall isn't just football and volleyball.
There's also soccer we need to talk about. And on Tuesday afternoon, the CBC soccer teams played their first home games of the year. And they did it against their rivals, Walla Walla...we start with the women's game. This game was tied at 1 at the half. And then Walla Walla took over...they score 3 times after the break, and they beat CBC 4-1. Right after that game, the CBC and Walla Walla men took the field. And this one turned out the same way. Luis Mendoza scored once in each half for the Warriors...and that was it for the offense. The Walla Walla men finish off the sweep as they beat CBC 2-0. |
