Jepsen Named GNAC Player of the Year
KENNEWICK - One of our area’s local volleyball players is turning some heads in the GNAC. Former Kamiakin Brave, Emily Jepsen was named the GNAC player of the year.
As a member of the Western Washington Vikings, she led the conference with 46 service aces. She also ranked in the top five in points, blocks, kills, and hitting percentage. Her high caliber of play has led the Viking their first appearance in the West Regional since 2007.
Jepsen graduated from Kamiakin High School in 2008. As a Senior Jepsen led the Braves to district and regional titles, as well as a sixth place finish in state.
