CBC, WWCC Soccer Teams Have A Good Day
The CBC men's soccer team has struggled over the last decade or so.
But, the Hawks have really turned things around in the last year or two.
And Wednesday, they had a chance to win the East region title.
However, it wouldn't be easy, since they were playing 2nd place Treasure Valley.
CBC would score twice in a 4 minute span early in the 2nd half.
And that was all they needed.
They end up beating Treasure Valley 2-0.
And with the win, CBC clinches their first East region title in several years.
Right before that game, the CBC and Treasure Valley women's teams played each other.
Neither team could put one in the net and this ends in the always fun scoreless tie.
Both CBC teams will wrap up the regular season on Saturday in Spokane.
Both Walla Walla Community College soccer teams were also in action on Wednesday.
The Warriors women's team stayed perfect in league play as they crushed Spokane 6-1.
And the Walla Walla men crept closer to a playoff berth as they beat the Sasquatch 1-0.
Both Warriors teams will wrap up the regular season Saturday when they host Wenatchee Valley.
