Seahawks schedule features Monday Night game against Packers

SEATTLE -- The Seattle Seahawks have known who they will play this upcoming season for some time, but Tuesday, they found out when.
They start off the season on the road with a divisional game against the Arizona Cardinals, and after that it's back to Seattle to open their home schedule against Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys.
That's followed by a Monday night game in prime-time against the Green Bay Packers that will feature new Seahawks quarterback Matt Flynn going against his former team and Aaron Rogers.
Then it's on the road for two games against the St. Louis Rams and Carolina Panthers before coming back to Seattle to face Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.
There is no time to rest after the Pats come to town because then it will be a Thursday night divisional match-up against the San Francisco 49ers, and round out the first half of their schedule against a Detroit Lions team that made the playoffs last year.
They begin the month of November with two straight home games -- first against the Minnesota Vikings then the New York Jets. They finally get a bye week in mid November and head to Miami Thanksgiving weekend to face the Dolphins.
Five games in December begin at Soldier Field against the Chicago Bears. Arizona is in Seattle on Dec. 9, and then on Dec. 16, the Seahawks go north of the border to play the Buffalo Bills in Toronto. They close out their schedule with what could be pivotal division games against the 49ers and Rams.
