KENNEWICK – The Tri-City Americans are victors in back to back games after dominating the Victoria Royals 6-3 on Saturday.

The game started out slow with neither team scoring in the first period. However, in the second, the Royals added a pair of goal to jump out to a 2-0 lead. Tri-City followed that up with three straight to end the period, and then added three straight to start the third period.

The offense was more than enough to give the Americans their second straight win.

Adam Hughesman was the big goal scorer for Tri-City on Saturday night. He scored a pair of goals in the third period and also had two assists in the game.

Ty Rimmer also had a solid outing in net. He came up with 32 saves on 35 total shots from the Royals.

Next up for the Americans, they hit the road to take on the Kamloops Blazers on Wednesday night.
