Area Coaching Changes

Friday was also a big day for a couple area coaches.

Three new coaches were announced at a couple of area schools.

And we start at Richland...

Almost 2 months ago, the Bombers announced that girls basketball coach Cindy McCoy was resigning.

Well, after a lengthy search, the Bombers announced that Bruce Robertson will be the new head coach.

Robertson is a Richland graduate and has been an assistant coach for the Bombers for a number of years.

The Bombers also named a new cross country coach on Friday.

Lauri Sax is now the head coach of that program after serving as an assistant for the past few years.

The other coaching change is over at CBC.

The Hawks have named Eric Wisegerber as their new softball coach.

Wisegerber has been the head coach at Southridge for the past 7 years, and was and Naches Valley before that.

He replaces Kelly Richards, who resigned after this past season to continue his career with the Hanford Fire Department.
