Hanford vs. Eisenhower Girls Soccer and Volleyball Scores

Story Published: Sep 8, 2009 at 10:43 PM PST

Several of our girls high school soccer teams opened their seasons on Saturday with non-league contests.

But Tuesday night was the first full night of league soccer games around the area.

The Hanford girls opened their season on Saturday with a 2-0 win over East Valley.

Tuesday night, they hit the road to play at Eisenhower.

This would be a scoreless game all night.

So it went to a shootout.

And Ike wins the shootout...so, they end up with the 1-0 win.

Hanford will be back in action Saturday when they play in Sunnyside.

We also had a pair of volleyball scores called in.

Chiawana played their first ever match...and they got swept by Kamiakin 25-22, 25-12, and 25-15.

And over in Yakima, Hanford falls to Eisenhower 3 games to 1.
