Dust Devils Drop Final Regular Season Home Game
By Keith Leventhal
The Tri-City Dust Devils are playing some great baseball right now.
In their last 12 games, the Dust Devils are 11-1 and that one loss was by just 1 run. On Thursday night, the team played their final home game of the regular season as they took on Yakima. And in honor of that, our own Kyle Trompeter was chosen to throw out the first pitch...in typical Kyle style, he can't just go with an easy pitch...no, he went with the curve ball...and what's he do...perfect strike...he actually looked better than the starting pitchers. Tri-City trailed 5-0 in the bottom of the 1st...but they came back to tie the game at 5. Unfortunately, the Bears got going again. And they end the series with a win, beating Tri-City 9-6. The Dust Devils will end the regular season on the road...they'll open a 3 game series in Boise on Friday night. |
