Dust Devils Finish Sweep Of Bears

The Tri-City Dust Devils are quickly closing in on their 2nd ever East division title.

Coming into Tuesday night, the Dust Devils led both Spokane and Boise by 7 games with just 13 left to play this year.

And, to make matters even better, half of Tri-City's remaining games are against last place Yakima.

On Tuesday night, the Bears and Dust Devils wrapped up their series over at Gesa Stadium.

And the Dust Devils finish the sweep as they get the 6-2 win.

These two teams will be back on the field on Wednesday night as they open up a 3-game series in Yakima.

The two teams chasing the Dust Devils also wrapped up their series on Tuesday night.

Boise and Spokane were back on the field in Spokane.

And, for the 2nd straight night, it's the Indians that pick up the win as they beat the Hawks 6-4.

So, with just 12 games left this year, Tri-City is now 7 in front of Spokane, and 8 games ahead of Boise.
