The Tri-City Dust Devils have been offensively challenged over the last week.
Tri-City has scored 1 run or less in 5 of their last 8 games and that's why they've gone 3-5 in that stretch.
And if you need more proof that they're struggling, the Dust Devils have been shut out 3 times in the last 4 games.
On Thursday night, they tried to bounce back a little bit as they wrapped up a series in Yakima.
The Dust Devils scored 3 runs in the first 4 innings.
And that would actually be enough for Josh Hungerman and 3 relievers.
They throw another shutout as Tri-City gets the 3-0 win.
The Dust Devils will continue their season-long 8 game road trip Friday when they open a series in Vancouver.
The Dust Devils got a little more good news since they picked up a little ground in the East division race.
Spokane had their game suspended on Wednesday night.
And when it continued on Tuesday, they picked up a 4-3 win over Salem-Keizer.
Then, in the regularly scheduled game, the Indians fell to the Volcanoes 2-1 in 10 innings.
So, Tri-City picked up a half game.
They're now 6 games ahead of Spokane and 8 games ahead of Boise, who beat Everett 8-7.
