Even though we're just 2 weeks into the Northwest League season, the East Division race is starting to get a little out of hand.

The Tri-City Dust Devils have won 5 straight games, and at the same time, the 2nd place Yakima Bears have gone 1-4.

So, when the night started, Tri-City had a 5 game lead in the East.

And we start our recap over at Gesa Stadium as the Dust Devils wrapped up their series with Boise.

It was all Tri-City in this one.

The Dust Devils pick up their 6th straight win as they beat the Hawks 12-0.

Tri-City now hits the road...Saturday, they'll open up a series against Salem-Keizer.

Since the Dust Devils won, that means the Yakima Bears needed a win to keep from losing any more ground in the East Division race.

They were at home wrapping up their series with Spokane.

The Bears trailed for most of the night...but in the bottom of the 8th, they exploded for 8 runs.

And that was more than enough to give them the come from behind 9-4 win over the Indians.

Yakima was led by Matt Davidson and Jorge Corniel, who each had 2 RBIs.

The Bears are also heading out of town...Saturday night, they'll open up a 5 game series in Everett.
