Gesa Stadium is known around the Northwest League as being a pitchers park.
Its 335 feet right down the lines...and with the swirling winds, not a lot of home runs are hit each year.
This year is no exception...Tri-City has hit 7 home runs, but only 1 of them was at home.
On Wednesday night, though, the winds were blowing out at Gesa Stadium as the Dust Devils opened up a series with Boise.
In the 1st inning, Mike Zuanich hit his 5th home run in the last 4 games
Then, in the 2nd, Kevin Clark hit his first home run of the year.
The Dust Devils were up 4-1 at one point, but Boise came back to tie the game at 4.
Fortunately, The Dust Devils score 2 runs in the bottom of the 8th.
And they win their 4th straight game as they beat the Hawks 6-4.
These two teams will be back on the field on Thursday night.
