Dust Devils and Bears Both Lose
By Keith Leventhal
On Monday night, the Dust Devils took another shot at picking up a game on first place Spokane.
Tri-City was up 7-1 after 3 innings. And they manage to blow that entire lead...the Indians come back and get the 13-9 win. These two teams will wrap up their series on Tuesday night. The Yakima Bears were also at home on Monday night as they took on Boise. And Yakima Mayor Dave Edler was honored...he threw out the first pitch...and he got his own bobblehead. Boise scored 5 runs in the first 2 innings to take a 5-0 lead. And Yakima just couldn't dig out of that early hole...they lose their 3rd straight game as they fall to Boise 8-5. The Bears and Hawks will also wrap up their series on Tuesday night. |
