3A Regional Baseball Tournament Recap
By Keith Leventhal
There were also a number of high school baseball playoff games on Tuesday.
Our area's 3A teams opened up the regional tournament on Tuesday afternoon. Most of the games were out of town, but there was 1 game in the Tri-Cities. The top seed in the CBL, Southridge, was at home taking on Kamiakin. The last score we heard from this game was 1-0 Kamiakin in the 5th inning...we apologize for not having a final score. There were 2 other regional games involving our teams on Tuesday. In the top part of the bracket, Kennewick earns a trip to state as they beat Mt. Spokane 4-2. And in an elimination game, Hanford stays alive...they beat North Central 6-1. The Falcons will need a win on Friday, and one on Saturday to earn a trip to state. |
