Ams Keep Rolling In Kamloops

Ams Keep Rolling In Kamloops

By Keith Leventhal

The Tri-City Americans have had some success against Kamloops this year.

The Ams are 5-1 against the Blazers, and have outscored Kamloops 21-5 in those 5 wins.

The last 2 of those wins came in the playoffs...and they've put the Ams pretty close to winning their first round series.

Tuesday night, that series shifted 500 miles to the north as the Ams and Blazers got together in Kamloops.

The Blazers led 3-1 entering the 3rd period...but the Americans fought back.

They scored 3 goals in the 3rd, including Jason Reese's game-winner with 2 and half minutes left in the game...and the Ams get the come-from-behind 4-3 win.

That means they now lead the best-of-7 series 3 games to none...and they're now just 1 win away from moving on to the 2nd round.

They'll try to finish off the Blazers Wednesday night in game 4...that game starts at 7 in Kamloops.
