On Saturday night, the Tri-City Dust Devils only had 1 hit and scored 1 run as they lost to Vancouver.
Sunday night, the Dust Devils had 2 hits and 2 runs after just 3 batters...but they still lost to the Canadians.
That was their 8th straight loss to Vancouver, dating back to last year, and their 10th loss in their last 11 games overall.
Monday night, the Dust Devils tried to snap all of those streaks as they continued their series with Vancouver.
And the Dust Devils finally beat the Canadians...the final was 4-2.
These two teams will be back on the field on Tuesday night.
At the same time that the Dust Devils have been struggling, the Yakima Bears have taken control of the East division.
The Bears have won 4 of their last 5 games and that's why Yakima has a 2 game lead in the East.
The Bears tried stretch that lead back to 3 on Monday night as they continued their series in Eugene.
Yakima scored one run in the 9th inning, but that was it as they fall 4-1.
The Bears and Emeralds will continue their series on Tuesday afternoon.
That Yakima loss opened the door for Spokane.
And the Indians were right there to capitalize.
They crushed Salem-Keizer 12-3.
The news isn't so good for Boise...they fall to Everett 7-3.
So, right now, Yakima's lead is down to just one game over Spokane and Boise and Tri-City are tied for last...but, the good news is, they're just 4 games out of first.
