Photos: Turtle mystery stumps officials along Calif. highway

Hundreds of turtles are found Tuesday night, Aug. 28, 2012, roaming the side of Highway 58 near Highway 99 in Bakersfield. Authorities aren't sure how the turtles ended up along the highway, but one turtle expert told Eyewitness News that the turtles were likely headed to market to be food.
