POWs Ring Returns
In this Friday, Aug. 16, 2013 photo taken in Raleigh, N.C., a gold aviator's ring that belonged to U.S. Army Air Corps 2nd Lt. David C. Cox during World War II rests on a freshly opened package from Germany. Cox traded this ring for a couple of chocolate bars while he was imprisoned in a German prisoner of war camp. The ring was returned to his son David C. Cox Jr. by a German couple through some investigative help from an American neighbor. (AP Photo/Gerry Broome)
