Windstorm knocks out power in Pendleton

PENDLETON, Ore. - A windstorm has knocked over trees in Pendleton. Utility lines have also fallen, cutting electricity.
Pacific Power tells KEPR electricity was lost near Hawthorne School.
100 customers are without power - down from 3,050 earlier. Crews don't have an exact estimate when power will be restored.
The National Weather Service recorded sustained winds of 35 mph and even a wind gust of 61 mph around noon.
A Millton-Freewater weather station recorded a 76 mph gust.

Wow, haven't heard of any thing here. but did have some bad wind and rain for awhile.
My Van was not important I was glad the children were safe :)
UPDATE: 1,648 customers are without power. Crews say electricity should be restored by 7:30 p.m.
Doesn't surprise me Pendleton is full of old real old trees
