KENNEWICK-- KEPR has new information on a local Wendy's restaurant.

We've now confirmed the Wendy's on Clearwater is closed -- and doesn't appear it will reopen right away.

Other restaurants in town -- and the sign outside -- are blaming maintenance and said it should re-open in a week.

But this closure came at the same time the two-Wendy's locations in Yakima also shut down.

A regional representative did not return repeated calls.

But we've received an email from the corporate office in Ohio -- it reads -- "We can confirm that the restaurant in Kennewick has closed. This restaurant is franchise owned and operated, and we are working with the franchisee to resolve this situation."

The locations on Canal..G-W Way and in Pasco are still open.
